Multiple Looks = Variety in Your Senior Session

Updated: Feb 13

Senior sessions are an exciting and important milestone for many young adults. These photos often serve as cherished memories and can be used for various purposes, including graduation announcements and social media profiles. To make your senior session truly unique and personalized, consider incorporating multiple looks. Changing up your wardrobe and style can add depth and variety to your photos, making them even more special. In this post, we'll discuss how adding multiple looks to your senior session can help you achieve the perfect photos.

Spend a few minutes talking with your photographer about how you want your photos to look . This will help them determine the best location for your shoot and also give them an idea of the types of shots you're hoping to achieve. Don't be afraid to discuss your ideas and ask for their input. By communicating with your photographer, you'll be able to create a plan that allows for variety in your senior session and give you the opportunity to showcase multiple looks.

Bring a couple of outfits or layers like a jacket. Having mulitple looks in your senior session will add variety and interest to your photos. Consider bringing a mix of casual and dressy outfits, or outfits with different textures and patterns. You could also consider outfits that showcase your personality or hobbies, like a sports jersey or a band t-shirt. When choosing your outfits, think about the location you'll be shooting at. You want your outfits to complement the environment and not clash with it. Remember, having variety in your senior session is key to creating a collection of photos that truly showcase your personality and style. Don't be afraid to experiment with different looks and try something new!

Don't forget to also bring layers or accessories like scarves, jewelry, and hats. These small additions can completely change the look and feel of an outfit, giving you even more variety in your senior session. Another way to get multiple looks in your senior session is by changing up your hair and makeup. You could have a more natural look for some photos and a more glam look for others. Discuss these options with your photographer to make sure they can capture your vision and provide guidance on what will look best in each setting. With multiple looks, you'll have a wide variety of images to choose from for your final prints and products. So, don't be afraid to mix and match your outfits, accessories, hair, and makeup to create a truly unique senior session that showcases your personality and style.
