WHAT IS FINE ART SCHOOL PORTRAITURE?

Fine Art School Portraiture is a custom, boutique experience for the families of the schools who have chosen me to photograph their students. My goal is to offer a service that is unique, personal and professional. At this time, I will only be serving a few schools so that I can provide superior service.

I work tirelessly to capture the personality of the child but will never force a smile. I will capture the children, as they are, that day. The images tend to be genuine and, I think, timeless. They are very different than the old school images we are used to with unflattering flash and forced smiles. I provide a relaxed, fun experience that actually goes by quite quickly. As the kids come through, I encourage them to be themselves.

WHAT SERVICES DO I OFFER?

I am an online operation and normally operate very seamlessly. Families are linked to password-protected online ordering galleries. Galleries can be set up in a way that makes sense for your particular school. I provide each child with 2-5 images (depending on their personality) presented in both color and black and white. In addition, I do not require the parents to pay up front for images that they have not seen. I let the family choose the photos they want printed and they may even buy the digital format if they'd like. Boutique product choices such as canvas gallery wraps will be provided as options. A detailed PDF describing the photo day prep and ordering procedures will be provided to each school. Schools may hand these out to families prior to photo day.

To make this even easier for the schools, the following will also occur:

Prints are ordered online and delivered to the school.
On shoot day, I provide all equipment and any needed personnel.
Each school will receive high resolution digital files to use for yearbooks, website, or any other purpose.
Any questions from parents and families about ordering and products will go through me.
I can also take the staff photos as well.

HOW MANY STUDENTS CAN I ACCOMMODATE?

I don't have a minimum or maximum; however, I am only working with smaller private schools, daycare/preschools and co-ops at this moment.

WHAT ARE THE COSTS OF THE IMAGES?

I work very hard to keep my rates competitive. I also do not require anything up front. All profits are made from the orders. In addition, I give back 5% to each school I work with.

WHAT ABOUT PRIVACY CONCERNS?

Each school's gallery is hosted on a private, unlinked, and uncrawled site. If the parents have additional concerns about privacy, they will be given the option to opt-in to an individual private and password protected gallery for their children. All opt-ins will be submitted by the parent in writing prior to picture day.
